Carl Shaw, Steve Johnson, and Josh Teaford will be at the Impulse Lounge at Northern Quest Casino this Thursday, 1/7/16 at 8 p.m. Our very own Casey Strain was able to grab a quick interview with these comedic luminaries before their show.
Well, it finally happened; Josh's laptop has finally keeled over and died. And with it, so went two episodes that were slated to be released. The data will be recovered, but in mean time, enjoy Casey and Josh being a bit sauced to be doing a podcast.
Our friend, and Spokane's best comedian, Harry J Riley (AKA King Peppersnake) will be recording his new comedy album on 12/11-12/12 at Uncle D's Comedy Underground. He came by to chat it out and talk about butt-stuff.
Don't be fooled by the title, this episode takes place in the tiny confines of Josh's new studio apartment. Its pretty fast and loose, but a great window in to where the guys' souls are.
A fellow worker-bee from Conscious Family Farms named Charles DeWolf came by and offered some conversation about what its like working on a recreational marijuana farm.
Matt Slater and Himes Alexander comprise Spokane's own The Smokes. Make sure you're at The Big Dipper on 11/19 for their CD release party!
We had the immense pleasure of having regional comedy phenom Gabriel Rutledge over to talk about comedy and preferences surrounding hair in the groin. Make sure to come see him tonight or tomorrow night at 8 at Uncle D's Comedy Underground 11/6-11/7
Mika Lahman, Jared Munson, and Phil Kopczynski came by to plug their upcoming show at Impulse Lounge at Northern Quest Casino. This was the best episode we've had over four guests.
Josh was completely drained from having been at Barter Fair all weekend and Casey didn't expect him to want to record, but indeed he did. The laptop was left too close to the mic so you can hear the broken fan, but its still a totally decent episode.
There's a lot of really good stuff in this episode, but you're going to have to work for it. Also, catch Greg this weekend at Uncle D's
Josh and Casey sit down to discuss Casey's appearance in the second edition of Rerun Theater at The Big Dipper.
Two comics from Seattle, Mike Coletta and Monica Nevi who are moving to LA stopped by the kitchen before performing at Jones Radiator on their Blanket Fort Comedy Tour! We had a great time recording with them and they crushed it at the show later that night. Make sure and check them out if you see they're coming through your town.
Also, don't forget to check out their podcast, The Hug Life Podcast at http://huglifepodcast.com/
My Co-Host Casey Strain joins me to talk about his upcoming appearance as George Costanza in Rerun Theater Presents: Must See TV Featuring an episode of Seinfeld and an episode of Friends. 9/11 and 9/12 at The Big Dipper
Local comedy juggernauts Harry Riley and Tom Meisfjord stop by to help us plug our show, this Wednesday 9/2 at 8 pm at The Bartlett 228 W. Sprague which is an absolute steal at a mere $6. We hope to see all of you there; and let them know if you heard about it on the podcast if you would be so kind. Enjoy!
A comedy staple for a brief moment when we were starting, Scott Kirkinburg stops by to check-in and let us know he's alive. Also, local musician and mmj farmer Seth Walser stopped by to share a few insights on genetics and joint rolling.
Local Musician and former school-mate of Josh's, Andy Rumsey came by and talked about growing up artistic in Spokane before Steven Tye became the first person to take advantage of our open door policy. Its a great conversation, so enjoy it!
We had the pleasure of having the Ken Griffey Jr of Spokane comedy on our podcast this last Sunday, and the excitement was palpable. Topics of conversation ranged from Greg Beachler, to zombiea, to vague ramblings about weed and whiskey. Please Enjoy!
The man behind the Pub Science series at the Baby Bar, Kenny Barney, came by to chat about weddings, the heat, and SCIENCE!!
IN this episode Casey and Josh decided that they didn't need no stinking guests..Instead, they wax poetic about the joys of growing up lower-middle class in Spokane at the turn of the millennium
